About us

Behind Bless The Maker are Robin and Kalev Doan, partners in both business and vision. As co-owners, they bring a rare combination of firsthand maker experience and professional retail expertise. Having both been makers since 2017, they understand the challenges artisans face and the opportunities that exist to better support them. This shared perspective shapes Bless The Maker into more than a store—it’s a thoughtfully designed space where makers are supported, stories are shared, and customers experience the heart behind every product.

Robin brings deep insight from the maker community, paired with over 30 years of experience in administration, customer support, information technology, and ecommerce. She ensures the foundation of the business runs smoothly—from vendor relationships and curation to inventory systems and online integration.

Kalev complements this with a strong background in retail management, marketing, and media. His experience in store operations, merchandising, and customer engagement helps create a polished, welcoming environment that elevates both the maker and the shopper experience.
